Vivobarefoot Women's Tracker Sandal - Obsidian

$160.00

More than a sandal, less than a shoe. The Tracker Sandal is versatile barefoot hiking footwear built for all-terrain adventures in warmer climes. Perfect for river paddles, sunny rambles, and epic summits alike – all with plenty of feeling and just enough protection.

FIRM GROUND 2 OUTSOLE

Stand firm - with grip, durability, and traction in this evolution of the outsole built to handle shifting terrain and textures.

BLOOM® FOAM INSOLE

The Bloom® Foam insole is made using the sustainable alternative to synthetic and petrochemical EVA foam, derived from algae biomass. This algae can damage our oceans, so harnessing it in our footwear helps clean up the environment.

BREATHABLE MESH

Breathable, lightweight and comfortable.

TOUGH RUBBER COMPOUND

Strong, non-marking rubber compound for sticky grip and high-abrasion when you need it most.

VEGAN*

*The main materials in all our Vegan* products are synthetic and aren’t derived from animals. We don’t (yet) have the transparency we need over the production of all the small components (such as adhesives and dyes) used in these products to ensure they meet vegan best practices. So, whilst we believe the shoes are vegan, we’re not yet able to guarantee it and want to be fully transparent.

This Vivo fits true to size.

Natural Footwear Guide

Why Choose Natural Footwear?

Our ancestors walked diverse terrains effortlessly because their feet functioned naturally. Your foot's complex structure of ligaments, muscles, tendons, and bones was designed to carry your body weight - but conventional shoes restrict this natural function.

What Makes Natural Footwear Different?

We avoid the term "barefoot shoes" (it's an oxymoron - you either wear shoes or you don't). Instead, we call them foot-shaped, zero-drop, or functional footwear. Here's what sets them apart:

Our Minimalist Grading Scale:

  • Thin Soles - Enhanced terrain sensitivity for natural walking
  • Zero Drop Design - Flat profile aligns with your foot's natural position
  • Foot-Shaped Toe Box - Roomy toe area allows natural toe splay
  • Natural Materials - Breathable, natural construction
  • Flexibility - Allows natural foot movement like our ancestors

Key Benefits

1. Stronger, More Flexible Feet
Traditional thick-soled shoes act like crutches, weakening foot muscles over time. Natural footwear rebuilds intrinsic foot strength, though transition should be gradual to avoid injury.

2. Better Balance & Posture
Every step feels more grounded and secure. Your body learns to stand tall and confident without depending on artificial support.

3. Reduced Injury Risk
Stronger feet distribute pressure evenly, reducing strain and preventing your body from overcompensating. This helps alleviate pain in your lower back, spine, knees, and hips.

4. Enhanced Toe Function
Remember how babies grip with their toes? That's natural toe vigor. Restrictive shoes diminish this strength, but natural footwear helps restore it.

5. Improved Arch Support
Your foot arch is engineering perfection. Excessive cushioning weakens arches over time. Natural footwear challenges your feet like exercise, strengthening arches for better shock absorption.

6. Pain-Free Movement
Conventional raised heels push your body forward, creating compensatory back arch and strain. Natural footwear's flat design promotes neutral spine alignment, reducing backaches and joint stiffness.

The Bottom Line

Just like routine health checkups, foot health matters. Why let problems worsen when there are solutions? Natural footwear helps make daily activities easier and less painful as you age, reconnecting you with the earth-grounded walking our bodies were designed for.

Transition gradually and consider toe spacers to help restore natural toe splay.

How long for delivery?

We try our best to ship orders out the following day.

However, we are a small business with a small team, so please allow 1-3 business days for order processing.

Can I return shoes?

Yes, we accept returns on shoes!

Sometimes the size or color doesn't work out, and we understand that. So we accept returns only on shoes that have been purchased through www.correcttoes.com, returned with original packaging, and cannot be worn outside or show any signs of wear – such as scuffing, discoloration, smudges, etc.

Reconnecting people to nature and their natural potential - starting with their feet.

Vivobarefoot is founded on one simple insight — barefoot footwear is regenerative to human health. We create footwear designed the way humans evolved to move—natural, connected, and free. Every pair fits and flexes to feel every rock, root, and ripple beneath you. It’s a return to our bodies, to nature, and to the freedom to move naturally.
