Rooted in minimalist design principles and built for those who live on their feet, the Summit Pro redefines what a rugged leather boot can be. Developed in collaboration with YouTuber and leather artisan Weston Kay of Rose Anvil, this project began as a shared vision to evolve the beloved Boulder Boot into something tougher, more heritage-inspired, and trail-ready while staying true to our signature lightweight, flexible comfort.

A longtime fan who’s tried nearly every Lems style, Weston first discovered the brand through the original Boulder Boot, which quickly became his go-to boot in the shop for its comfort and versatility. Known for cutting boots in half on his channel to expose their craftsmanship, he brought that same analytical eye to the design process, helping shape what would become the Summit Pro.

Working closely with Lems founder Andrew Rademacher over the course of a year and a half, Weston helped fine-tune key elements of the design, lending his craftsman’s perspective to create Lems’ first unlined leather boot. Every detail, from construction to color, was chosen with purpose, merging our commitment to natural movement with Weston’s appreciation for rugged, heritage-quality materials. As Weston puts it, “We went back and forth for over a year to refine every detail and how to make the Boulder Boot tougher, more heritage, and ready for the trail.”

Crafted from premium full-grain water resistant leather, the Summit Pro delivers lasting durability and comfort that only gets better with wear. The Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides exceptional traction and longevity, while classic moc-toe stitching nods to timeless workwear aesthetics. Each of the first 2,500 pairs includes a custom leather hangtag handmade by Weston.

Summit Pro Sizing

We find that the Summit Pro fits true to size, so you can order your normal US size. This is a unisex shoe, so the width is the same for both men's and women's.

As with all Lems shoes, if you need more volume inside the shoe or increased ground contact, you can remove the insole. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our customer service team at support@lemsshoes.com.

To us, it’s simple – shoes should be designed using the bare minimum. They should fit the foot’s anatomy, while allowing your feet to move like you’re wearing nothing at all. In 2008, Lems’ creator, Andrew Rademacher, reached his end point searching for shoes that fit the natural shape of the foot. Starting out by dissecting his favorite running shoes and cutting out the extra, unnecessary material, Andrew decided to learn the art and science of shoemaking in his own way. He studied shoe fitt...
