There’s no heel elevation or toe spring, so these boots are completely flat. The outsole is remarkably just 4 mm thin but also has substantial lugs for traction. These boots will allow your feet to feel the trail beneath you so you can appropriately adapt to the varying terrain. The Nubuck leather upper has some inital stiffness to it but quickly breaks in to better form-fit to your foot.
The Nevada can work fine on easy trails but really shines as a casual/fashion boot in urban environments.
