The Mont Blanc BOA from Altra is a lightweight long-distance trail running shoe with a dual-dial BOA Fit System that allows for a truly personalized fit. Built on the Altra “Standard Fit” last, the Mont Blanc BOA provides plenty of room for toe splay during your run. These trail runners are zero-drop, so there’s no heel elevation, but they do have a toe spring in the front. The stack height sits at about 30 mm with plenty of cushioning, so you won’t feel any rocks, sticks, bumps, or cracks in the ground —however, the shoe gives a lot of reaction and a nice pop to your run.
The upper is thin and light, complete with a BOA lacing system that allows you to quickly dial in a perfect fit. You can snug them up for downhill running, then quickly release them for a looser fit on the flats.
